If USGT is anything like RCGT you would have to use a wing set from HPI, Tamiya, or Yokomo with plastic standoffs and a scale appearance. Once again I'm not exactly sure but I don't think the body could have molded wing standoffs in it either.

As open as the USGT rules are they would be allowed with molded stand offs. like htis mohawk body I have. Since its not in the T2 list is legal and has molded stand offs. and wing says any scale molded wings, but if tc lexan wings they can only be 10mm tall

Funny thing about the Parma Mohawk & Mohawk 2 was that they intended to be on the ROAR t2 list, they where even submitted for approval & failed, but they were accepted as carpet racing foam tire TC bodies & used in competion at the birds, up in Clevland, & also in Los Vegas.
So in the spirit of USGT is the Mohawk considered a GT style body or Touring style body?

I dremmel the tops of my body posts into a wedge shape and used bondo to fill the hex heads of my wing screws for aerodynamic advantage.

All fun aside though. My personal and totally subjective thought on it is this. I would rather be 100% within the written rules, as well as the spirit of the rules. That way, if I happen to come in anything other then last place, no one can attribute it to out-of-spec technicalities.

Your mileage may vary.

not arguing it...we were just discussing how the rules are put is all. Like I already said I dont plan on racing the body....I dont even like it. Just discussing it would be legal according to the rules since its not in the T2 list. I may not run USGT at all. I have interest in the class but right now my wallet dont lol....3 VTA cars already plus a kart has my plate full.
