The shock set-up for the ft b4 works well at TT. The sct should have all camber links long 35f30r or similar in the dampers, soft springs, several use silver/f black/r & sway bars f/r. Most popular tire is the JConcepts Bar Codes in gold. Hope this helps.

Anyone want a set of Kyosho velvet buggy shocks? I will be willing to sell the shocks with springs for a good price. I just rebuilt them with new o-rings but I never put oil in them.

I just broke down and ordered a set of the Kyosho big bore buggy shocks.

I found a new glory in the sway bars on the sc10.

A front swaybar will need to be a custom job. Its not too complicated though. If done the way i did it, you can use a leftover bar from the rear swaybar kit.

Ive tried a ton of setups up there, and honestly the biggest/best thing you can do is get the right tires. Barcodes in green or gold work well. Wishbones in supersoft hook really well, but wear out pretty quick, as well as the green barcodes. The golds will take a few runs to wear in to where they grab good, but once they do you are set for a while. I have over 4 months of racing on my golds and i can still race them just fine.

This should be similar to what ive been running.

Take note that a lot of guys seem to run thier sc10s a little differently.

No Idea on the SCT ones. The original time frame I read about was June. With the earthquake and tsunami, there is no telling when they will come out.

I ordered my shocks form there. They have the best prices on the expensive bits(anything with metal in it) for Kyosho cars.

Yeah its hard to click on boxes rite? The ones from pros are usually missing all sorts of stuff lol.

I originally made one to try and help folks out without repeating myself so much lol.

Yeah but are you giving us the truth or telling us one thing and running another Im running 50wt and #3 pistons all the way around. I also have 1* of toe out in the rear "helps alot with the understeer from the heavy shocks". All joking aside thanks for posting that it should really help others get their trucks setup.

Looks like rain for Sunday so no grass cutting or trips to the lake for this weekend. So whos in for some intense offroad racing indoors in the dry.

I mean im not the "track owner" or a "racer" but I know a good race weekend when I see one.
