It has been a while so i thought i would give a little update. As things stand right now we should start moving dirt in about 1 month.Going to install a drain pipe and move about 30 loads of dirt. The plan for the drivers stand is to build it 6ft wide by 16ft long.It will have a roof on it so the sun will should not be an issue.

Is 4inch drain pipe ok for the track border?I think it is going to take about 1500ft if not more to line the track when its done.

Yeah that is what I use.

What did you decide on? Dirt Oval? Offroad?

Keep us posted. I don't really race just bash with my son, but that might change if there is a track right up the road.

Wow I didn't see this thread before, looks like you got lot of guys willing to come play already and help out. heck you get the wood and bet you could have a stand put up in a weekend, the track layout could be put in also in a weekend, Don't know how much room you had but you could have moved the track in a lil toward the pond and made a oval around that one, seeen some videos seem that what a lot people do.

mine was a oval but you could go straight at the first turn and go into the other part of the track i thought it was neat how i did it, but mine started as a oval and i wanted to make it bigger.

so your adding dirt to the whole track or your bringing in dirt for some jumps?
