Was a great day of racing... I wish we could have been in the mix of it.
First.. I want to apologize for any frustrated or angered remarks. We tried a borrowed motor.
First qualifier, it ran 5 minutes - came off the track at 190*. We tuned on it a little and the motor started to open up and the temp came up to 234* -
Second qualifier the front CVS pin fell out at the start. I made it a 1/4 of the way down the track and started to spin out.
Third qualifier - after one warm up lap the fuel inlet banjo screw worked its self out. Bottom washer gone.
Got a washer (Thanks Paul and Matt) - check it - ran a tank of fuel on the break.
Start of the main - Warm ups - engine not turning over - we thought the battery on the starter box died. Found out the Connecting Rob cracked by on the crack shaft. Motor locked up...
Funny thing the motor came off the track (After running out of fuel at 245*)
End of racing...
So, as this was occurring throughout the day / night I was a bit frustrated and could have said something out of context. For that, I am truly sorry.
Not sure if we will finish the series...
Thanks to all that have helped and continue to help - I wish you all the best.
