2010 SUMMER SCT POINT SERIES @ HH
Hey guys, Who Wants To Win a Truck!!!!!???!!!!!
We are hosting the Hobby Hangout Summer Point Series
The Series is a 1 class event for 2wd Short Coarse Trucks
This will be a 5 race point series
Top 3 of 5 finishes will determine winner
Race dates are!
July 1st
July 15th
July 29th
Aug 12th
Aug 26th
Awards/prizes:
-trophies for top 3 winners @ all races
-trophies for top 5 point series winners
-WINNER OF POINT SERIES WILL RECEIVE A NEW SCT TRUCK (one of your choice as long as its available by order @ HH, ex. Slash, Blitz, SC10, Strike, etc)
Rules:
-ROAR 2wd SCT Chassis rules apply
-any motor/esc combo
-no 1/8 tires/wheels
-fenders must cover wheels
-2s Lipo and 6cell Nimh only
Point System:
-Sliding scale starting at 100 and going down by 5 for each place under first.
-5 point bonus for TQ
-10 point bonus for running all 5 races.
-Finals will be Sliding scale from 150
costs:
$17 per entry
(I know $17 is a weird number, but I didnt want to charge an even $20 b/c $17 will cover the cost of trophies and the free truck, keep the $3 for drinks or something
)
Rainouts:
-If we get rained out the following Thursday is the make up date.
-No make up date for finals!

One week!!!
Going out to get some trophies today or tomorrow!
Remember top 3 at every race gets a trophy and top 5 in the series will get trophies

All kidding aside, I'm looking forward to meeting you and seeing you at the track. The more the merrier!
Shon, I had to order the rear bumper for the conversion. It uses parts of the bumper mount for body-mount mounts.....
So maybe next week or this weekend. Cool kit so far. I need to disassemble to trim a little from the shock tower. I've got something working on it, I'd like you to take a look and give me your opinion whenever we can meet up. If you're up near bleakley drop by, or I'll try to swing by near you this week.
