Yes we are opening up the class to include all SCT's be it RTR or fully upgraded so long as they do not exceed the stock "kit" motor or 17.5 brushless. All those motor combos should be just about as fast as the next. 99% of our racers have raced nothing but electric for many years, me about 15 years now and have been loyal to them even with the growth of nitro. It seems with the growing cost of nitro and the simplicity of electric now people are making the switch. Trust me if you need to know anything about electric come hang out with us for a while we will help in every way possible.

Here's a earlier post about BL slash..........

....a 5700kv should be pretty close to 19t if my memory serves me correct. At this point, it would be eligible for Open Mod only. However, next year it should fit within the rules for the SCT class.

Superstock 2wd is simply a 2wd buggy with a 13.5 brushless motor. Popular chassis include Associated B4, Losi XXX-CR, Kyosho RB5 and Academy GV2.

Open mod is open to any vehicle/power combo you come up with. 2wd, 4wd, truck, buggy, slash, motorcycle?

A 5700KV motor is more like a 9 or 10 turn brushed on 6 cell or 2s lipo.

Guys heres an easy way to solve this. Bring it and run it if you are turning 24 or 25 second laps with a Slash with stock tires than you are way faster than the "stock" class rule set at that point I am going to move you to MOD. The SCT's are not allowed to run any tire except what came stock on it. NO 1/8th scale tires on a slash. So bring what you have and we will talk about it and sort the classes out. In the past few race days the "SPEC SLASH" has been dead but 13.5 buggy continues to grow. We need to revive the SCT thing and rebuild the interest so I am not going to turn anyone away. Most the fast SPEC guys will still probably be the fastest because you really cant use but so much power on our track as its not as wide open as most other tracks around. In 13.5 buggy we only really yank on the car on the straight and the rest is not much more than half throttle thru the technical sections.

Ignore the guy who said that. He's an idiot... (I was the one who said it lol... and I was wrong about the SCT thing)

Thats the reason I re-posted that quote, because I have a BL slash too, and earlier you said it would go into open mod. If I can run my BL slash in SLASH class, I'll leave my spec slash at home. I can gear it down.
