I'll be there! If I can get the chassis cut, I'll have my Evader SC project ready for testing. If not, I'll probably just run Shaun's (misfitz) Losi while mine is still down for the count.
quick side note: If anyone has an old Short course body, let me know and we can cut a deal. I dont really want to go out and buy a new one just to test fit things.
When you get ready to buy one, I have a new blue/silver Slash body that I never used. I'll let it go at a reasonable price.
10 day weather says sunny and 65! should be a perfect day!
Your local weather man........
Hey you guys got any video on youtube? I wanna see the track in action!
Since Kieth and I both are photographers we have a fair few photo's of action at the track but neither of us have a video camera so not much video is shot at the track.

I was coming to rome to visit my sister this weekend, mind if I come by and run my 1/18th scale propulse around a little bit before the races start sometime early in the morning? ( say 10:45 or so )

Sure bring it on out and play. We won't mind. The track might feel huge to that thing though
This track layout had "CHARACTER" you should re-do it

If anyone has stock SCT's to run bring them this weekend and we will run a class with them I would like to see how they fair against the Slashes. After watching the SC10's and Strikes run with them this past weekend in NC neither are at an advantage over the other. If your running brushless no more than 17.5 though. We were gonna start this next season but lets see how they are with the Slashes if they are tons faster "I don't think they will be" then we will address it at that point.
I cleaned up my buggy from this past weekends race activities in NC. I'm looking forward to running some laps outdoors at TT this Sunday. That indoor stuff was just way too messy!!

Brushless I didn't know any stock SCT's were brushless.
Will slash 4x4 run with SCT in 2010 ?

I forget at times when I speak of stock that I mean stock motor class. A stock slash motor is about as fast if not just a little faster than a 17.5 brushless. The "stock SCT" is based off ROAR's rule set for the class and that is 27t or 17.5 brushless. If anyone who has ever raced electric from back in the day knows that that POS motor in the slash isn't even in the same ballpark as a real 12T motor. I've had 27T motors that would smoke that paperweight. I think most guys will switch over to brushless bext year just to save the money on buying nonrebuildable motors.
The 4x4 Slash will be in it's own class as it will have an unfair advantage in the cornering and stability dept. We will have a SCT and 4wd SCT class next year.
