Charlotte Road Trip 10-30 to 10-31

Whos up for a trip to carolinasrc to get a warm up for the regionals? I know I have a truck full and some others want to go as well. Who would be interested in carpooling and splitting rooms to ease the expense. I am leaving Friday about 9AM to get up there and check the place out, get a room, and chill out til Saturday. Planned to drive back Saturday after the race. Spoke with the guys there and we may be able to practice friday they might move the oval race to sunday. He is going to get Hotel info up in the next day or so but they said they usually get a deal with the fairfield inn.

You already know I am in. I can drive up as well if needed. I can carry 2-3 passengers and a fair amount of gear as well. I would need my passengers to split the fuel costs though. Also, whoever sits behind me, better be short.

Im out.. I need to save for the regionals and I have to buy a new speed controler. Thinking I should sell the 4.0 and look for a 6.5

Ive got a 3 month old KO BMC V1.5 I can sell with the PC software...

Technically, 13.5 is Super Stock, but I do see what you are talking about though. I had always heard that truck was the more popular class up there.

This race is catering more to the local crowd vs. what the regionals will run. As i explained to Alex (the person that actually runs the track) people outside of Charlotte run stock truck.

I hope you guys come up, should be a good time.
