Mark this one on your calendar and make plans to attend might be our last big chance for a good event til next season.
Rain date will be DEC 6th same format (hopefully won't need it)
Just wanted to bring this back to the top so everyone will see it. Had a good showing for SCT today at the warm up. Congrats to Bernard on the win I think this is three in a row with a bone stock spec slash running against the brushless/upgraded trucks. His wasnt the fastest on the straight but he ran a clean race from start finish. Look forward to seeing a good turnout for the SCT's next weekend. All qualifiers will be 6 minutes and the buggy and mod main will be 6 minutes SCT will run 10 minute A main.

Straight line power isn't everything just look at the difference in lap times of my 4.0 and my 8.5. Im acctualy a tad faster with the 8.5 than I am with the 4.0 because it was to much power in the corners and made the car too unstable. there is such a thing as too much power. On slash tires the way the trucks are set up they just cant hook up with much more power than that titan motor

Hey Gene, I will be back this sunday for the Brawl. Just got the OK from my parents to go to my crawl event and this. I bought the purple slash i was racing sunday so I will be back with it to give a good go at the slash class. I will talk to Kyle, Tony, and Cris and see if they all want to come back out to bash. Im pretty sure Kyle and Tony will be comming.
I am confused... are you racing spec slash anymore? Wasnt it originally a Spec class money race? Or does the slash now fall under the SCT class? If it is, are the motor limits a 17.5 with any ESC and any 2.2/3.0 SC tire?
I don't know how he is going to handle this this weekend. We did it this week as an experiment. We found was that a spec Slash can compete and win against a ROAR SCT Slash(meaning 17.5 and and SCT tire).
I know some of you run the Trinity IP 3800 and IP 5000 packs. Could one of you weigh the packs for me? I am battery shopping and I can't find a weight for those packs anywhere. I want to keep my buggy weighted the way it is but I don't want the weight to balloon. The packs I normally run weigh about 230 grams. Most packs I see that have weights listed are 290 grams plus.
