Classes are as follows:
1.Super Stock 2wd
2.Open mod
3.Spec Slash

Entry fee $20 first $10 second $10 third

Track will be open at 7A.M. for practice til 11:30 Drivers meeting at 12 and first round starting at 12:30.

Mark this one on your calendar and make plans to attend might be our last big chance for a good event til next season.

Rain date will be DEC 6th same format (hopefully won't need it)
Just to clarify, I realize that a transponder is required to keep lap times and stuff, and that hand coutning is not an option, but can someone (me and Taylor) come race for fun without a transponder? There is no danger of either of us getting close to 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the A-main so our lap times shouldn't really matter in my mind. I do see the potential for one or both of us to get in the way of the leaders as we are being lapped, but I try to get out of the way when being passed, and as for Taylor, he has trouble getting out of his own way.

Remember we are starting this one earlier please make arrangements to be on time. We want to be able to get started on time and finish early enough to get the award/pictures done and get everyone home in time for work monday.

Here is a look at the trophies for the race. I think they turned out pretty nice for our first one. For those of you who do not have transponders you are still more than welcome to come and race I will attempt to keep up with you but understand there are going to be a lot of racers running at this event and I can't promise anything. If you want to come out come on and run with us and see some great action as well. We have trophies for TQ thru 3rd for Slash, 2wd, and open mod. I also have B main winner trophies for Slash and 2wd. If there are enough for a B main in open mod I will order you a trophy just didn't think there would be enough yet to have a B main. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

You should have a LAST PLACE trophy and also a BLACK CLOUD trophy for the person who has the most trouble for the day.

Been racin nitro the last few years, so elec is kinda new for me.
How do I find the difference in.....
1.Super Stock 2wd
2.Open mod
3.Spec Slash

I have a slash with a 5700kv brushless and a 2 cell Lipo or 7 cell. Is it competitive in Open

a 5700 should be pretty close to 19t if my memory serves me correct. At this point, it would be eligible for Open Mod only. However, next year it should fit within the rules for the SCT class.

Superstock 2wd is simply a 2wd buggy with a 13.5 brushless motor. Popular chassis include Associated B4, Losi XXX-CR, Kyosho RB5 and Academy GV2.

Open mod is open to any vehicle/power combo you come up with. 2wd, 4wd, truck, buggy, slash, motorcycle?

And Spec Slash is pretty much box stock trucks. You can change the body and run any battery you want but that's pretty much it. A full set of rules can be seen on the Turtletrax Website. (click here)

Yup, they also have a 1/18th scale SC that looks pretty neat I think I read somewhere that they will be adding the class at the Micro Nats this year. Should be a pretty popular class.
