Why?
“It’s cheap insurance.” ROAR members are covered by two ROAR insurance policies, liability and bodily injury, while participating in a ROAR sanctioned race or a practice for such a race. The club/track is an additional insured on the member policy.
Liability: This policy protects members from claims resulting from damage caused by their R/C car to spectators and others. The insurance company has the right and duty to defend the insured (member) against any suit seeking damages because of bodily injury or property damage, and pay those sums the insured becomes legally obligated to pay up to the $1 Million policy limit.
Bodily Injury: This is a "no-fault" injury policy, because it pays medical expenses if you hurt yourself in a ROAR sanctioned race up to $10,000.

A race is ROAR-sanctioned ONLY when all attending racers are ROAR members AND the host track is a ROAR track.

How much to join?
One-Year membership: $30.00
Single-Day membership: $15.00
Cost to upgrade Single-Day membership to One-Year membership at a later date: $15.00 (the same price as if you paid all at once)

Families: Immediate relatives of current members can join for only $10 per year.

How do I join?
Easy: http://roarracing.org/join.php
ROAR Sign-up will be available at the track, however we highly encourage racers to sign-up online beforehand!!!

-What to Bring-

Racers need to bring their racing equipment, a chair, and a pit towel (tables and on-site air compressor are provided).

Default Thank You

Arun, thank you for all of your help today and last weekend.

It was good to see the TurtleTrack gang there today. I am very bad with names, but over time I'll get them down. I look forward to racing this season and learning the ropes.

Again, thank you.

Taking a look at the track today and all I can say is wow. You really can tell all the work that Kumol, Arun, and Melvin have been doing.

I dont know squat about squat but that being said the preped sections of carpet look better than I remember them being all year last year and the track may in fact be better this year from what it sounds like the way Kumpol explained it to me (and i'm very sorry if I'm butchering the spelling of your name) Im only planning on running VTA but am looking forward to it.

Im not however looking forward to the complete strip down and rebuild of my car that needs doing

I would be interested in doing a little carpet racing soon. I don't know if I will or not at this time though. I have a 12th scale I can run but it needs a lot before it could be raced. I would need a ESC, motor, transponder, battery(1s lipo, no round cells for me), tires and body. I don't have the funds for it right now. I will have to wait and see how things go this fall before I can do anything.

I'm in for 12th and VTA. FYI guys - this year 12th scale is 1s LiPo only with a 13.5 brushless. No more NiMh or brushed motors in the class according to the guys at Nexus.

I'd probably only be able to make the trip once a month but 1/12 and either TC or VTA.

Hey Guys,
We're revising the rules a little bit based on what worked and what didn't last year. Minor changes, but here's a preview before it is posted to the track site:
