Cool. It appears the Tamiya TRF415 is a vehicle that could run the touring class. I am correct in this?

Thanks, I figured Honestly, never looked at these type of touring cars closely until tonight. Watching videos, searching, man it looks like a blast.

It appears all the TRF415s are all gone, new 2010 model arriving within the next two months.

Does anyone have a touring car chassis setup they are wanting to sell?

I guess I might be biased, but you could buy an XRAY. It's a great car and you would have complete parts and set-up support from Nexus.

Will the track be open this Saturday 9/19 for practice? Since it looks like rain all weekend I was thinking of bring my 12R5 up and put some laps on it.

Thanks,
Curtis

Thanks, after I posted about the 415, I asked the team manager about the 416WE, that is the one out of stock with them. I am open to XRAY too, but would be nice to support the Team I am apart of. I am awaiting in final word about the new 416X. IN the mean-time, if anyone has something they want to sell me, I am open to suggestions.

Version history from the Team Manager:
The 414X was the first competitive touring car released in 1999. Then came the 414 (non X), then came the 414M, then the 414M2, then the 415, 415MS, 415MSX, 415MSXX, 415MSX March Rheinard Edition, 416, 416 World's Edition and now we are on the 416X.

I know what you mean about supporting the team, if you can get it cheaper then that would be the way to go. If not team xray has an awesome quality product you wont be let down by. the t2 009 rubber version is good as most big races are switching over to rubber and leaving the foam tire.

Are there any objections to me running my old Chameleon 19T w/ 4600 NiMH next Saturday? It will more than likely be slower than the 13.5's.

Always trying to be courteous

I think Kieth Sawyer ran 13.5 Rubber with a 19 turn a few times last year and nobody had issues with it. I could be wrong however.

The NiMh batterys would depend on the brand. They dont allow Intellect NiMh's in the building anymore as there fairly unstable and had two blow up in the building last season.
