Lee, I had to order some stuff from California cause you were out of town, and now I'm regretting it. It might not even make it here before sunday.
BUT, I'm looking forward to my first race with you guys! Sunday is gonna be a great day, Sugarbowl in the morning, then Atlanta Motor Speedway at night.
This will be great . We will be there for sure .
I am sure the boys will have a great time .
I was able to secure a MTX4R ( new and assembled) for $181.50 with shipping from Steve Wood .
I scored a novarossi pipe on e-bay for $ 16.25 with shipping .
And found a JR Racing system XS3 with the servos for $ 90.00 on e-bay NIB .
I was able to my X-12 mugen motor going , so it is looking like next weekend i will be able to have a car to chase josh around with .
Oh , BTW Mr Lee , i hope you and your wife are feeling better .
Greg and the boys .
Hey guys, looking to come race with you guys at the Bowl but not sure what way to go with a car.Looking at Tc3 again or Mugen mtx4r but kind of new to the on-road deal. Raced oval electric but very little on-road nitro.Any sugestions would be great and of course dont want to break the bank just yet. Thanks and look forward to seeing you this weekend.

We look forward to having you at the Bowl.
I suggest that you get a belt drive car. The TC3 has a history of being fragile. Consider Kyosho, Mugen, Serpent. All are great cars. You may be able to find a good deal on a used one.

Mugen mtx4 Complete race ready
CRScotty , to fully answer your PM , the link above is from the for sale section .
This is the guy i bought my car from . Steve Wood .
His actual store ( brick and mortar ) is located in Waldorf Md .
I know they still have this car , when i spoke to Steve on saturday he asked if i wanted it also .
From what i understand , you only need a transmitter and you are ready to go .
This is also a super deal .
He also has a MRX4R NIB for 300.00 . I think that may be cost on it .
Greg
Thanks for the input guys. Jumped the gun a little last night with a NTC3 on ebay but also contacted steve wood about that MTX4.If its still avaliable i will buy it today. Thanks msbeckysboy. Is there any other way you know of to get ahold of Steve Wood? Thanks again
Thats fine on the tc 3 , i know an 11 year old that needs a starter car .
I am sure i can get you what you paid for it ,if you want to sell it .
Any way ,i found the set up sheets and pretty much every thing you could possible need to make the car go and drive like something special .
More info then Mugen offers , and possible the most i have ever seen from a Manufacture
What ever you do , do not cut the little car short .
It may be a little easy to break , but if you wack the wall with a other brand , i am sure you will get the same results .
I am sure of it , i have done it , and have seen it done with other cars also .
Greg
This is the car..
the ebay Item number: 300340156262 . I paid $192 after shipping but if he is interested he can make me an offer. paid $179.99 for car.
Let me know and again thanks for all of your help.
WOW. Thanks for that link. That is a ridiculous amount of info for my car. I got a lot of reading to do.....but I got a lot of homework also. I'll sort it all out soon.
AH, I see the set screws. I thought that inner hole was just another option to put the pins through...
