It's 30 X 60 and we would really like to get some onroad going here as we are just running oval right now. It would be very easy to convert to on-road. Any lay out suggestions?

Hey there Cliff. I used to race oval back in the early to mid 90's at Silver Wings, SugarBowl and a few races in Macon on the concrete oval. I remember you and Andy from long ago. I usually came down with Todd Oswalt, Jay Hawke, The Maddox's, Bubba Coker and others.

30 x 60 is plenty of room to make a nice on-road track. Here's a quick layout idea to get you started. It uses 6ft lanes all over with an 8 ft wide sweeper.

ShaunMac..Nice lay-out, but from the start 6 is too small, rather 8 foot lanes, less track.

Clifford...You need to set it up and post a date, if we all know the date we will all come support you and check it out.

No one in our region is promoting any on-road event's at all.... Event's are where you make your rent...

It's there for the grabbing and I will do what I can to help.! The season is about to start and NOW is a good time.

Hey Shaun, I remember you. You sure did hang with a sorted bunch back in those days, lol. I am running the track solo these days and we have a pretty nice place to race with the latest scoring equipment. In this economy we are lucky to have any place at all to race. That lay out looks good but may have to be simplified to accomodate the 8' lanes. Is anyone up your way racing the WGT cars? Fernando I may try to do an "event" in December.

You can run brushed with us, We have an excellent break out class that is a whole lot of fun. Most guys that race here race in that class no matter what else they run. Check out today's race results. You can also keep up with us here http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?t=257531
