The new layout seemed to be a success I liked it anyway others seemed to also. I'll get that rough spot behind the double fixed this week. I know of nearly 30 buggies now. Lets see if we can get them all out at one time. Also there are alot more slashes that have been hiding as well. There has been talk of 2wd trucks. I am all for that I love trucks.

The truck I want to run is not available yet. I would like to see the trucks start running again.

As for the buggy, it is ready to roll Sunday. I went through it and checked everything. Rebuilt the diff, shocks and made some changes I think will make the buggy even better.

So what is the deal with the trucks. I was told today the truck guys agreed to run mod? is that true or is it gonna be 13.5/19t? i rather run 13.5/19t

If 2wd truck is going to be run, we want it to be mod. That was the general consensus.

For us noobs: what is the details of 2wd mod truck?

Any 1/10 2wd stadium truck with unlimited brushless esc/motor?

Pretty much. The real popular 2wd trucks are the Associated T4 and the Losi XXX-T. Kyosho has a truck coming out end of this month early next, the RT5. Those are the big names in 2WD truck.

Mod, according to the ROAR rules, is any brushless motor with fewer than 13.5 turns and any brushed motor with less than 19T.

Not many rules in mod beyond the specs for the truck itself.

It would work. Throw some holeshots or similar on the back and a ribbed tire on the front. I would love to see the trucks come back. I got into racing electric off-road with a RC10T2 running mod at TFB back in the day.

I would rather look at the truck class as being kinda open for now. I prefer mod because they are so stable you can really use alot more power in them. On the infield a 13.5 will be just as fast as a mod. I am for what ever grows the class if it has to be 13.5 thats fine I can practice mod for bigger events. I think a 10.5 or 8.5 would be plenty and very easy to control as well. I would like to see the SCT class take off as well. Only time will tell on that one though.

I wonder why the 2 Kyoshos running basically the same setup look the same.

Also, while I am thinking about it, they won't look so similar for awhile. We are headed different directions on out setups in the future.
