Indoor "SLASH and Buggy" racing "Sunday" July 12th @ Hobby Hangout
This will be out first weekend race. We will try to do this Once or twice a month. Start time will be at 2pm. We will still be racing on Thursday Nights.
Come on out and run your Slash or buggy .The Race will start at 1pm..You need to have a KO Transponder. AMB will not work. We sell them at the track for $36.00..Race fee will be $10.00 for the SLASH and buggy class.

(Clarifications and Modifications)
Slash:
1. All trucks must use the factory Traxxas body, or the Pro-line slash specific models.
2. No modifications may be made to the chassis system. Vehicle must be raced in its stock form. Original Traxxas replacement parts are allowed for broken or worn parts. (This includes all "a" and "x" part numbers from traxxas only)
3. Both the front and rear suspension systems must remain in stock form. Original Traxxas parts only. No hop up replacements. (Shocks may be modified using any brand oil, piston changes and limiters must be traxxas part numbers designed for traxxas shocks, any traxxas shafts and springs may be used)
4. Original 5805 Traxxas kit white shock springs may be used. Shock caps may be replaced with alum shock cap 2667 and Traxxas turnbuckles 3139X, 3139A, 3737, and 3737A may be used.
5. No modification may be made to the steering system.
6. Any manufacturer’s bearings may be used.
7. Original RTR kit electronics, speed control and servos, only. You may install any different receiver you like.
8. This class is restricted to a stock Traxxas titan 12t motor
9. This class is limited to any 7.2v NiCad, NiMah made up of 6 sub c size cells or lipo 7.4v 2c battery packs.
10. Original Traxxas slash 2.2” wheel only.
11. Original Traxxas 2.2” tires only.
12. Only the original Traxxas drive train may be used. No aftermarket or hop up replacement drive components may be installed. Traxxas steel planetary gear differential only. Any of the three Traxxas spur gears may be used. Any pinion gear that mounts without modifications needed may be used. Ball diffs are not allowed.
13. All trucks must weigh no less than 4.75 pounds race ready.
This racing series is ment to be inexpensive! Traxxas parts are reasonably priced. Any TRA part numbers may be used as long as all components are bolt-on requiring NO modification.
The Hobby Hangout is open from 12-11pm Thursday-Saturday.

Well my wife is going to be mad now. I look forward to this because I was realy trying to figure out how was going to get my son to race on Thursday night especially when school starts back. Daytime racing will be great for PR too. Because more racers from other tracks can come and visit.
Raindays are no worry on Sundays at Hobby Hangout.

I'll be there! Also will drag some of my locals with me. Sounds awsome race at TT on Saturday and HH on Sunday. Thanks guys I think you will see lots bigger turnouts now.

really wish I could bro!! but I have band practice on Sundays. If I work at it I might be able to make that race on Sunday the 12th. It just depends on how quickly we can finish the race. If we can be done racing @ 5pm or mybe 6pm. I think I can make it happen

don't miss out. had a great race thursday night. we will be running twice a month on sunday. Fast fun track. Traction is awesome and very competive racing at the hangout. The Hobby Hangout offers a trophy and a new slash motor for first place. We also have been getting a good turn out in the 2wd buggy class. we will start racing by 2pm. The track opens at 12pm and closes at 6pm. We will get y'all home at a good time.

So will the losi strike be able to run the slash class? Im thinking about ditching the slash for a strike only because im a losi kinda guy...
