Tower has the base kit for $169.98 (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXDAX9&P=SM) and you can use a promo code for a $20 discount which puts you somewhere in the realm of $160 shipped.
Thanks for reminding me about the codes!! for $180 with the discounts, I can get the B4 Factory Team Buggy Kit that already has all the Al, CF & Ti upgrades included.

I will also check out the for sale area for some steals.

Thanks for all the great input.

Sorry, I would love to race more, but I have a young family (4 and 7 mo) so my racing is limited to 1 or 2 weekends a month.

I have a used B4 I'll let it go to a good home.
It needs
servo mounts+ screws
servo arm and ball stud
battery hold down
slipper cover+ screws
motor,ESC, RX and servo
I suggest rebuilding the shocks
Body and wing

It has aluminum front A-arms and rear hub carriers
Several spare wheels and some used tires
I'll throw in a NEW carbon fiber chassie

$60.00

Yeah....my favorite online retailer doesn't carry Losi (Tower) so I would rather go the B4 route.

Eric: Are you going to TT this Saturday? That is a tempting offer, thanks.

rcbo: Thanks for the offer, I will have to take you up on that. Thanks, on the vid....Sorry the resolution was not that great.

Chris I wish Tower sold losi but that would make life to easy.

So what is a good brushless system. I was thinking about going with the losi system because it has a card to progam the esc with, which would be useful at the track. Also are the tires that come in the cr kit any good or should I buy different ones?

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...tal-Gear-Servo

Is this a good servo for a buggy? Also does the buggy come with a servo horn that works with jr servos?

Got another question. Can I use the coupon codes for a main multiple times? I am thinking about splitting my $670 order into 2 that way I can save $50.

The server is ok. Not the best but it should work fine.
You can only use each coupon onnce.

I use the z590m in my buggy and as far as I know it works just fine. I have had others drive my buggy and the servo was no problem for them.

Eric: you going to TT or the GCS at Loganville this weekend?

Looks like I will be postponing my buggy for a couple months, I got a 1/16 Slash VXL today (Fathers Day Present). Maybe I can run it against the 4wd buggies?

Loganville. I'm doing the GCS. If I wasnt in the middle of this series I'd go to TT. Do you think you want the B4? I'll save it for you if you want, otherwise I'll let it go to someone else.
