2wd buggy Indoor Racing :)
Hey guys anyone interested in doing some 2wd buggy indoor racing @ Hobby Hangout on Thursdays?
I have my old school XX running and will be bringing it up to HH sometime on one of the Slash nights to try it out.
AC and NO Rain! sounds good to me!

I'm good for that I have my BK2 ready to go just need some batteries. I wonder if you can run LIPO's on a a Novak Cyclone 2. Plus with all the 2wd buggies coming out from the dust here in the area it may be good to start a buggy spec class. I may even bust out the XXXT MF for good measure.

Thanks it may cost me less to start racing buggy instead of getting in a whole new class. I can go to the hangout and pick up a lipo pack and a charger and the total domination starts.
I say let's have a buggy class at Hobby Hangout.

should be able to run 2wd buggy. I think it is just plain smarter to just go to the Hangout and buy a Lipo pack and charger. Because if I buy the slash right now it will just sit on a shelf because i'll have no way to power it.

any of you guys have a Lipo charger for sale?

What kind of motors you planing on running? All I have are a few brushed fantom mods that I have had for a couple of years.

Ran my XX for the first time in almost a decade. WOW the car exploded around the track !!!! I put down some 8 sec laps! I can tell this is going to be a lot of fun!!!!
I honestly can say I have not felt a 2wd buggy respond so well since I used to race at Dalton Raceway (the indoor track)
in the late 90's.
I cant wait to see some more folks up @ HH to run this class

I spent most of the day at Hobby Hangout to restore my XXXBK2 and get a few laps in. I realize that driving a buggy on carpet is really different than on dirt but I got the hang of it so I look forward to racing you guys next week. Oh thanks to every one who lent me a battery pack today. It really helped a lot.
