I am interested in some racing as well, I made it out to PT once with my Slash. I do not think I will be a regular due to having young kids (7mo & 4 yr.).

I have a spec Slash and a brushless Traxxas Rustler, 2wd stadium truck. Also, Traxxas claims that the E-Revo is 1/10 scale. I know Richard has one, would you consider a 1/10 MT class? But, they might be as destructive as the 1/8 nitros?

Nah, my E-Revo weighs over 10 lbs with NiMH packs. I would not want to run it at TT. To put that in perspective, that is the weight of 2 Slashes.

Traxxas also claims the Slash is 1/10 scale as well. I think they create their own catogories and stretch the scale rating to its limits. I have run Rfury's revo and it is in no way 1/10 scale it could hang with 1/8s easily. I am not against them running just don't think you will get them around the track with the tight turns and such, they don't excactly have a tight turning radius.

anyone up to some 4wd mod? im working a deal on a xxx4 at the moment and would love to have some guys to fool around with. also any progress report on the work day? we had a massive work day here at the house our-self.....(me and keith BTW) family coming in and the folks are freaking out about everything so yeah sorry we couldn't make it out there to lend our skinny hands in building again.
