Default SugarBowl Race #3

Weathers going to be 72 and sunny! Should have 50+ racers showing up!

How's that for a positive prediction!

Dang! Forgot to put the date in the title!

4/5/09

I will be there ready to race! Looking forward to helping knock down a M-class driver a notch or two.

Points races are the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. There will be people practicing this weekend but it is not a points race. The next points race is the 1st Sunday of April which is April 5th.

Here's a breakdown of expenses for the last two races, I've paid out of pocket some of this.

3/8 w/7 entries = $70.00
3/22 w/10 entries = 100.00
_______________________
total = $170.00

costs paid by me:

transponder repair = $134.13
drop cord = 66.76
porta potty = 179.80
5 gal gas = 9.25
parts for gen repair = 30.88
_________________________
total = $411.57
race fees = -170.00
_________________________
difference = $241.57

We had the generator quit on us 3/22, a valve spring retainer broke. I ordered the rebuild kit to fix, hope this is all that it needs. If not we may need someone to bring one to use for the lapcounting and PA.

OK Guys.

It is not normal that Bob has to advance money like this. We need to do something. I suggest that the members of the club each give a sum to the club to cover those charges. This can be considered as a club fee for this year. How about $20 per person. This should help cover the costs that Bob had. We just need a treasurer to collect the money.

I don't have an issue with helping out. I will bring my generator for the next race if yours isn't back. Let me know.

Thanks
Alain

If you need a generator or extra power, my truck has a plug in the bed of it.

Actually Kumpol is treasure for GO-RC and there are funds from last year.

However, not sure of the status of the Club?

Parts ordered should be Wed or Thurs. Will know then.
