This year will be fun.
No NOVA's, No Losi's, No $1800.00 trucks. I'm capping the build off at $1k and concentrating on driving. I'll be in the truck that drives the best for my style of driving. I am almost convinced that will be an ST-RR, but I want to drive the RC8 truck to be sure. Top grade servo's and a budget mill. Keep the build cost reasonable and make me work to keep up with trucks built better and driven by better drivers. If I feel like I've got it down pat halfway through the spring/summer season I'll switch out to a high powered mill. Basic plan is just to be underpowered and drive the wheels off of it. When I can't get any faster driving without upgrading the mill, it'll be time to pump up the juice.
This years focus will be maintenance and setup. I'm going to try and do more with less so I should log some good info on setup sheets this season to share. Driving that monster last year was fun, but not fulfilling. Having unlimited ability in the truck covered up a lot of little quirks/flaws in my driving that bugged me so I am going to start back small this year and focus more on me than the truck.

If it stays running the whole event (qual + main) and gets fuel mileage similiar to every one else your fine, i've seen Coty stop for fuel more than other drivers in the same race and still win.

Dion hope you will be able to join us for the first race of the series at Dalton RC. You know we all miss you at the track ur like family.

Sorry Dion wish i could come and race on new track layout but as you know the first race of the series had to be postponed due to weather.But i will see you next sunday.Untill then try not to kick anyone out of the drive thru.HA,Ha

Dion im comming for ya at you place if i can't beat ya ill wreck ya. So put some bumpers on the truggy because i'll probably be all over the track by the way any pictures of the track. Hate they resceduled Ga race on the same weekend. Anyway se ya around.

It stinks, but we cant control the weather. I will for sure catch the gsc next time it is at dalton. I was coming to this one. I dont want my local racers to get mad because I did not show. I do not know how to contact them and they are not aware of this forum.
Ryno I looking forward to doing some truggy racing with you.
Also I talked to Ed and we will be announcing a series soon. I expect to some alsome racing in North Georgia this year. New track layouts for both shops I cant wait.
My race is not going to affect the gsc race much it is for the locals. See everybody soon.

I hope we do them on saturdays like last year that way i can run all of them!
