Why not just run them with the regular 8th scales? The only thing I would do is require the electrics to come to the pits and stop for a few seconds during the main to simulate a fuel stop.

I hope to have one of these for next summer.

I'll quit all together if that happens... Own class is way better...

Totally awesome, when I get a job or a rich girl, I'd love to run one too...

I am sorry you feel that way. So you would be upset if a couple of 8th scale electrics ran with the regular 8th scales? It's not like you will see the electrics take over. If a consistent group of 5-10 start showing up I say split them up. Otherwise 1-3 electric 8th scales running with the nitros should not be a problem. Just have them pit during the main to make it fair.

I just see splitting them up right off the bat will kill the class before it starts. 2 electric 8th scale buggies show up and want to race. Are you going to tell them they can't and send them home? That's not going to foster the class.

Don't start. I want to race but can't do to lack of funds. I broke my car last time I raced it and its still not fixed. No money to replace everything that broke.
