I have a question for you video guys. I have a cannon zr500 ( think its r) camcorder. It takes the small 4 pin firewire connection. I have looked high and low at best buy, circuit city, radio shack, cannon, wolf camera...etc. I cant find a cable or adaptor to go from the 4 pin firewire to usb. Closest i can find is 4 pin to 6 pin. Which means i have to buy a firewire card for my computer cause it dont have a a firewire port. Is there anything I can do other then dropping $100 on a firewire card and adaptor cable?

We used to have a laptop that it would connect right up to.....no more tho. Quinn put his head thru it on accident

If i am correct ( and i may be wrong as i am not up on my computer knowledge) Firewire is the only way to go with that because the video feed is too fast for even USB 2.0 to keep up with. My suggestion is to put a firewire card in

I have no idea how good this card is, but they have a few under $25 you may want to look at. They also have a great return policy, so if it doesn't work, they'll take it back without hassling you (unlike BestBuy). You can also try Fry's if you don't mind driving to Alpharetta (Windward Pkwy). http://www.frys.com

My favorite was the sound of the lens cap dragging on the ground.

PrimeTime needs someone to take video or pictures of all races and make sure that they get posted along with results. Easy way to promote racing in the area.

Great videos Snoop. Thanks for taking the time to do them!

Thanks bmr. It does help that when you talk to someone about your sport you can say,"Fire up you tube and you can see for yourself."

Joe I hope I wasnt too much of an ass. If it bothers you I will see if I can edit that out. You really did lay down some excellent laps. You earned that win, and you deserve it.

bmr at first I thought I should keep the lens cap from dragging the ground. I even paused in front of Sawyers Camaro because I was trying to get the cap off the ground. Now that I have seen the video a few times, I like it so much that I plan on doing it intentionally.
