Default 5-18 Primetime Race Results

Another great day of racing! We managed to dodge the rain bullet all day long. 22 total entries this week. I had a lot of fun racing with Brian in the main. Good job on the win Brian! Nice run in the main Keith! Your TC5 looked really good. Personally, I think it was that super fast pinion I let you use. Keep up the good work. See everyone next time.

Great turn out, glad to hear you guys missed all the rain. I tried to make it a productive day, working on cars. Not the same as racing Hope everyone who was there today plus even more show up for next weekend. What a day that could be, F1's, Mini's, Touring cars Nitro and Electric and hopefully some vintage rides. I take it no one showed up with those again?

I tried to make it but apparrently I suck at soldering battery packs. No one wants to hear a cell vent after you plug it up.

Thanks a ton to everyone who helped me out! Not to mention all the great racing all day long. I had a blast racing with everyone again. I really owe you guys one! Thanks for the company all day Diego and Chadley, it was really fun pitting with you guys. Thanks also to Fernando for hooking me up with the tires, and Big Shaun Mac for that super fast pinion you let me use.

@Nick Clark: Thanks for letting me use your charger man, you really saved me a lot of headaches.

@Nick Cline : Thanks man, it was great cutting up with you and Cody all day long. And I really enjoyed having the chance to race with you throughout the day.

@Eric: Dude, you were fast all day long and I really had to push hard to keep up with you. I cant wait to do it all over again next week!

Sorry for the long post guys, I just want to make sure everyone knows how much I appreciate all the help! Cya all next week

Stay tuned for pictures!

Keith, yeah it was fun racing with you, it's been a while. I was running great in my heats and then just choked in the Main, I only ran 23 laps in the main and I was running 24-25 in my heats I think I had bad luck, but fun anyways

Great job Busse (spelling). That was a close race between Mac and Busse. Thanks to Shaun M for helping me out with my radio. I just wish I would have asked before the main that way I might could have done better all day.

Well, considering I finished last in the C main, meaning I was 15th out of 15 drivers, I can't believe I still had so much fun. I did have some radio problems at both of the far ends of the track which didn't help, but I have so much to learn about these touring cars. I feel totally lost, I'm not sure how much of it is lack of driving skill and how much is lack of knowledge on car setup. I am going to have to do some serious practicing just to try and get fast enough to stay out of you guy's way! I will be back though!

Glad that radio adjustment helped you Nick. At least you will be ready for next time. Did the throttle response feel a lot smoother in the Main?

Don't forget about trying a lower "Punch" setting on the Speedo. Trying a less aggressive map can really help smooth out throttle response.
