I'll try and get Hart to come down. 17.5 for me in 1/12 since it's the only motor I have. Anyone have some extra tires I can buy to run on asphalt?

Ok, 17.5 for 12th, I'll do work with the BMI either way Make it a class Bill and run yours too. Might have 4 or better for the first time out...

So getting everything together and I can't get my flipping battery to charge. Low voltage error message. Volt meter reads 3.56 volts! Any suggestions to get the voltage up so my charger will charge?

The battery is one year old with less than an hour of run time. Protek.

3.56 should be good. Does your charger auto select cells or is it manual? Sounds like you need to set it to 1 cell.

Thanks Tom. The charger is set to the correct settings. Is it possible to charge it using a nicad setting until it gets above 3.7?

I used either nicad or nimh charger settings to get a pack up to proper voltage, then switched to lipo charge. It should work.

Yes Chris that is what I would do, But a charger should not have a problem starting unless the voltage is under 3.0 v. per cell

The WGT chassis to get is the CRC SE but they are none available. You could find a used LE chassis but I'd wait.

I am going to contact Protek and find out what other reasons the battery will not charge. I know my Orion charger is working because it was able to charge / discharge other batteries with no problem. Hopefully I can locate a 1s battery before Sunday!

If have 3 packs at the moment, will lend you one for the day if you need. Did you try charging in nimh mode to see if it would bring the voltage up?

Plenty of power if you bring a cord. I'll be running TC and possibly VTA.
