There were a few nitro racers last week. It's a catch 22.
I always hear from the nitro guys that they don't go becuase nobody was there. There are a lot of nitro racers around they just need to be organized. Speedline races every week.

I agree that the nitros need to get organized. I live 5 mins away and would love to see a better showing from the Nitros. With Lakeland closed, I hope people will start heading to Speedline.

I know I've said it before, but I am more serious about it now. I am looking to get a track together. If you know of a location or a person who has a parking lot, Please let me know. I am looking to repave for a track and put something together. I'm working on getting most of my ducks in a row now with $$.......The track I want to do will be a Nitro/Electric track, but mostly Nitro friendly.

I am looking for something around Dade city, Brooksville,.....West of Orlando, North of Tampa.........Somebody must have something somewhere.

The Lakeland Linder Airport did offer new space to the club up there, but the club would have to lay new asphalt, a capital that took 3 years to recoup before..

Talk to the airport people, see what they can do for you.

About 10 nitro cars today at speedline. Good turn out. To bad it rained.

I've talked to Dave at B&B and Jay from BMI. They are going to resurface the track at B&B put all new pipe and layout down. Fix it up as "smooth as glass" as the words I recall. It sure will be nice to have a track that close.

I am sorry to hear the track closed. Never attended, but I found out about the track (and Kissimmee) one month before I was going to move from FL. That's too bad.

Where is everyone racing now? Kissimmee isn't too far of a drive from Lakeland.
