i will be keeping one eye on the hurricane tracking and the other on strickland! remember friday night is the warm up race ..gates open at 2 pm racing at 7:30

saturday GATES OPEN AT 2 PM racing at 5:30 pm under the lights.....everyone do your best to keep the cane away!

in keeping with my word(for once) i will not have guys from naples or anywhere for that matter driving home to a hurricane again.

FRIDAY AT NOON WILL BE THE OFFCIAL WORD ON RACE #4

this will not cancel the warm up race friday night at 7pm though...

we tried racing while a hurricane took aim at florida last year and it was a huge mess. every racer had one eye on the hurricane and the other on trying his best to race and have fun. if you were at rpm that day you know it wasn't fun.

the series has a few regulars who travel from south florida and the west coast as well. i cannot ask them to leave there families and homes and come race toy cars.

for this reason race # 4 will be rescheduled. september and december are open months. i will talk with mike bean and we will race at strickland i promise.

please stay safe and i hope to see you all in sugust at MTR speedway for race # 5

side note: mike bean will be racing tonight at 7 pm and will try and race saturday as a normal once a month program. if you live localy come on out and run weather permitting.
