Thumbs up SS HOBBIES AND RACEWAY NEW OFFROAD TAMPA FL

Allright everyone...Its been a long time coming.
The ground is clear, the clay is going in,
and the new offroad track is being built.
We could use alittle input if you are interested in being a part of the
ground floor of the new track. Right now we are going to be
about 110 ft straight or so (give or take), and about 60 ft or so in width.
We do have room to go larger, in the future.
We have plenty of parking, restrooms, air , water, electricity, lights, driverstand, food and the Hobby Shop.
We are thinking of running evening races so that we dont interfere with any other daytime race programs. However we are interested in knowing everyones opinion on running times.
We are planning on running gas and electric, both 1/10th and 1/8th scale.
Our Hobby Shop will obviously be open during all race programs and will be accomidating all of the offroad racers needs. Any constructive input would be appreciated also anything that anyone would like to bring to the table would also be appreciated. Our plans our to have the grand opening of our new Offroad Track next month. We are moving ahead quickly.
We would like to Thank anyone in advance for your input.
Sincerely,
SS Hobbies and Raceway

nice, there is a huge 1/8 E buggy and 4x4 sct following in this area. a new offroad trac will be welcomed i am sure.a good place to start would be to run the sunday after b&b
(they run 1st and 3rd sat of the month) and the sat. before lake park(they run 2nd and 4th sun. of the month). fine tune it from there.

Ohhhh Nelly! Yes! Ronnie...(if this is Ronnie S) Pics and details please! And man! I haven't seen u in years! I remember seeing you for the first time, I wanted to have your talents so bad since I draw and love cars. I was maybe 11-12yrs old going out to Steak&Shake (yeah, BACK IN THE DAY! indeed) with my ol man and his Canary Yellow Orig restored 69 Cougar Eliminator 427 FE and use to see you hand paint pin strips on Rat Rods/Hot Rods and Muscle cars alike. I then later on use to attend car shows and stuff like that you sponsored or ran (what ever the case)... Last time I saw u I believe was several yrs ago at the corner of of Anderson at Burger King and Winn Dixie... That's when I had my 2003 #1247 Terminator

I live literally across the street from Lake Park but they have the drivers stand down and rumor is 2 months to complete. I don't race and haven't since I was a kid, but I would not mind getting my rigs dirty and maybe getting my feet wet. Just not much going on with organized tracks near by beside B&B and that's near 40min away. Even if I don't "RACE" would be cool to get some practice fun runs.

sorry for babbling on...Good Times

2nd and 4th Sat or Sun

===

We are planning on running gas and electric, both 1/10th and 1/8th scale.

===

The above is GOOD for me. Have 1st and 3rd Sun races already. Looking for a local track to race nitro SC.

It's been a LONG time coming, you talked about doing this two years ago at Lil' Dover with Bob and I.

Allright everyone, Im getting into it!!!

should we concentrate on long and fast or
should we concentrate on short and tight?
do we want some big jumps, or should we go SC or should we go Rally?
Im just about ready to start laying out the design...just a couple more loads!
