Welcome to the 2012 Super Cup Championship Series!

It is with great pleasure and honor to be back on board as Race Director for the 2012 Season. Having been in the sport of R/C racing for over 25 years and running events for over 8 years, I strive to run a fun, professional, family oriented race program.

To help assist me in providing a great season of racing I will have the help from Rich Muller and Matt Mosieur. Rich will be this seasons score / points keeper and Matt Mosieur has set up locations / dates for the 2012 season. Matt will also be providing colorful entertainment at select events.

Looking forward to a great racing season!

I've had a few questions regarding stock truck for 2012 season - Stock truck will be 17.5 "Blinky Mode" only.

Don't forget about the Bashers Enduro - Do we have any teams yet?

Yes...It's actually been required for several years, but everyone got relaxed about it. Please make sure you are current or you can join trackside.

Just a question:

Will we ever see a 17.5 10th scale 4wd buggy class?

I would think this would be a great way for the 10th scale on-road touring car racers to get started in off road racing. Plus a great way to build on the 4wd class that's been suffering over the past several years.

I know they started this over in Europe and they lure racers away from on road and more to the off-road scene.

As of now the 4wd touring car racers has to jump into 4wd mod buggy if he chooses to stay with the 4wd platform.

I just think that this would be the best way to move from on road to off road racing and to also maybe spark more of an interest in 4wd buggy.

Please let me know what you think?

Happy New Year To All....

I don't currently see this as an option, but we will certainly discuss all options as we move forward. I can assure you, 4wd will get a big boost if and when Losi decides to release a new buggy . When the B44 was released it quickly became one of the biggest classes on the SC series, but I think the SCT really hurt the 4wd class.

Thank you for the feedback.

Hey Paul,

Ok maybe a 13.5 or a 13.5 boosted entry level 4wd class would be better. Yeah the new Losi buggy is coming out soon. Just wondering if they are re-doing the xx-4 or a new buggy. I would bet they are starting from a clean slate with this one

Thanks,
Eric
