FSEARA Hall of Fame.
One of the things we are exploring for the 25th year of our great series, is the addition of a "Hall of Fame". Seriously, FSEARA has a great history, and one way of keeping the past not too distant is a Hall of Fame. What we are looking for, are suggestions of Racers, Directors, Tech people, and anyone that had a great impact on the series, as well as the hobby as a whole. So Please post some suggetsions, and we can see what we have !!!!
Thanks,
=FSEARA=

My vote is for Art Carbonell cause if there was an international R/C Hall of fame he should get in first ballot (only person I can think of to win an IFMAR onroad worlds in both Electric and Nitro). Of the modern era guys how about Paul Wynn,Dave Vera, or Alex Lopez all guys who have won Nat'l titles and brought nat'l attention to our series just my 2 cents.
P.S. anyone thinking of a painters corner to this H.O.F.

Art carbonell without no further consideration.!
there have been others but the years and miles he has racing in this state cant be matched. And to take it to a national and world class level! That is top of the list.
Dave did well but has not achieved that level. With all respect if he is reading and yes he'll spank 99% of us here in the state he's still missing something.
Bob hall same caliber as dave for his time.
Alex lopez, Scott hake and Dave Franklin. Have won national titles aswell as recognition to our state winning national championships.
And on another subject if we are looking into a hall of fame I nominate the now defunct Clydes track that was in naples as the best track ever in the state, holding many state races and national events.
As for the hardest working, eventhough
I havent seen eye to eye on somesubjects (4 cell 19t pancar, legends, and big scale! )
I nominate Bill Fraden for a life time achievment award!
If I missed someone important I apologize!

I like this idea. Definitely include tracks, clubs, officers, and even sponsors.
We can't leave out Bruce from Autographics.
Steve Whitney should be in there for sure. He did a fantastic job for the series.
How about the old SFEAR club for hosting the largest ever FSEARA event?
Janien Gill - 1st female to win a FSEARA event AND series (1/10 stock).
I would also include Mike Burnette and Denny Smith from Atlanta. Not only did they dominate the 1/12 mod and stock classes in the mid-80's, they were also the ones that brought the AMB system to the series each race! Besides, driving from Atlanta to all the races (even in Ft Lauderdale and Miami!) takes some committment.

Yes, gotta have Rainbow. Can't leave out Troy either.
I'm sure Paul would agree....I would nominate our dads...Jerry and Mike Sr.

I believe it might have been september.
The cover of the magazine it was in had a dirt oval car ( a dominator ) painted black and yellow. I know I have it because we all came out in the group pic with results.

My first year racing in the state series was 1986. I remember Hugh Ebner! He always drove a grey car. Never changed.
