Ok stop what u are doing , Newred Hobbies racing high speed oval tonight at 7pm(friday night) come on down and and give it a try. Then Sat we are racing our offroad program at 12 noon, the best part is we are indoors and we have the best layout with awesome new layout and the best jumps in the state. We have a new offroad track being built outdoors for our 1/8scale /nitro guys and monster trucks will now have a place to run . And its always free for spectators to come watch. Come check out some awesome remote control items , check out some pics of our airboat, or how would u like to fly a quad/drone over a mile and record on a 4k camera. How about a speed boat doing 50mph, or a monster truck at 65mph..We have the best repair dept. we are going to celebrate 14yrs in business in april, so keep looking for the special event 352 671 7302...www.newredhobbies.com 609 nw 4th ave Ocala Florida, behind Jerrys pawn and gun

Need some advise. I have a B5M. Would a B6D be better for this track or is the B5M good enough? I would like to hear from those he have driven both on this track. If the B6D is recommended, how many seconds are shaven off on average? And are drivers using the lay down transmission?

Sorry for the delay. To answer your question it really depends on your abilities. I can make a b5m competitive. Heck on the currently layout I can almost make the rear motor competitive. It doesn't hurt to have the benefits of the newer cars weight balance though.
as far as I know all the b6 drivers are currently using the laydown. I'm not sure it's a huge advantage on our current layout though. Next one perhaps.

Tonight, Tonight, Tonight! Thursday Night Thunder at NewRed Hobbies. It's going to be a real battle with drivers getting track time in prep for Nats. Come take on one of the most challenging layouts around. Tonight's qualifying action begins at 7pm!
If you can't make it head over to http://www.newredhobbies.com for a link to the live feed and to our on-line store (especially if you're looking for some of those hard to find older vehicle parts). Or you can click on over to RC Scoring Pro or for just the video feed hit up our YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/NewRedHobbies
