Default Track Insurance, non-ROAR

We're looking into opening an Offroad track in the Seminole County Florida area, but we're having difficulty finding an insurance company. ROAR is an option, however, we'd like to make it our last one. Mainly because the organization we are working with requires that the track is accessible to everyone, and if you have one non-ROAR member on the track your coverage is kaput.

Do any other track owners have some input into who we could contact for insurance quotes?

Thank you.

Default Insurance

When we formed the South Florida Dirt Oval Club. We looked at all the options for insurance being that the county required a million dollar policy.
Private insurance was going to run about 850.00 a year and we would have to submit for every race that we were going to have.
ROAR was our best bet after all the research. If people really want to race they will join ROAR its not that big of a deal. That way your but is covered.
Believe me its well worth it .

If I remember ROAR has a weekend $15.00 weekend membership. And If the sumbmit the other $15.00 it will be a years membership from the date of the first payment.

Thank you for all the replies. We did end up finding a private insurance company willing to insure us with a minimum of red tape. The city we're working with had specific requirements which ROAR insurance did not meet.

Hey guys. Avid racer here. I just moved to Orlando from Tampa and there is only one track here to run. How soon are you guys looking to start. We just started a SC Money Series and it kicks off Sept. 14. We would like to check out your location and maybe talk about holding a race at your track.

Any questions you can email me at [email protected] or check out our website at www.shortcourseking.com

Thanks guys

The Chad
