Hello Racers,
Well its only a few weeks away the start of the 2009/2010 Season.
This will be FORGASS 33rd Season.
Our schedule will be the following:
Race 1 - September 19th and 20th, 2009 - Homestead RC Raceway
Race 2 - October 17th and 18th, 2009 - Fort Myers Civic Center
Race 3 - November 7th and 8th, 2009 - Tampa SS Raceway
Race 4 - December 12th and 13th, 2009 - Kissimmee K Raceway
Race 5 - January 9th and 10th, 2010 - Fort Myers Civic Center
Race 6 - March 6th and 7th, 2010 - Kissimmee K Raceway
Race 7 - April 10th and 11th, 2010 - Homestead RC Raceway
'Sour Grapes" Trophy Weekend - May 1st and 2nd, 2010 - Fort Myers Civic center
Schedule For the race weekends will be as follows:
Saturday: Open Practice from 8am to 9am.
Controlled Practice from 9am to 10:30am.
10:30am Drivers Meeting
3 rounds of Qualifying starting at 11am.
Sunday: Open Practice from 8am to 9am.
1 Round of Qualifying start at 9am.
Lunch break from 11am to noon. (Approx)
Then mains starting at noon.
All A - Mains 30 minutes
All B - Mains 25 minutes
All other Mains 20 minutes
Registration on Saturday is from 8am to 9:30am,
Sunday from 8am to 8:30am.
Tracks may or may not be open for practice on Friday. Its up to each track owner and will be posted prior to race weekend.
Classes are:
1/10th Sedan 200mm
1/8th Open
All cars will be teched according to ROAR rules. ROAR memberships will be required as always in this series.
