Default FSEARA 2009-2010 Spec Tire

The new season is quickly approaching, has any decision been made concerning the spec tire for next season?

I was wondering about this myself.

Also when is the awards dinner going to be?

We only now race 1 day (Sunday), Going to be hard to do awards and race in the same day.

We are talking about tires for our r/c cars, not the secret formula for col. sander's fried chicken!

How about rather than everyone calling Izzy, maybe Izzy or Shannon post something on this public forum for discussion.

I'm not Izzy or Bill or Shannon. I talked with Izzy last night and we have 3 tire companies that want to sell us tires. We are still testing all of the brands. We are still looking for the best value/handling tire combination possible.

Ok I'm back damn keyboard locked up.

So the official word is No Decision has been made for the tires. This is a non-voting issue and will be determined by the director and assistant director.

The banquet dinner will be in Daytona. We are working out all the details with our first choice in restaurant

Who is doing the testing? and where? Has any testing been done with modified power? The reason I ask this is that I was asked to do some tire testing but have not heard from anyone nor have I heard of anyone doing any testing.

+1 , if anyone should be doing the tire testing for mod it should be Troy and Dave F.
