Everyone,

Just a note. It does not cost anything to pre register. So please pre register so SS Raceway has enough trophies. If you do not pre register there will be a five dollar charge at the event. Not trying to be a pain but it takes less than 5 minutes to pre register. Nothing worse than not haveing enough trophies for a regional race.

Also we will be using the FSEARA weight for all Touring Cars, 51 ounces.

Default Rules

Hi Dave/Ron,

1) Will you guys be enforcing the LIPO sack charging rule?

2) Are you going to tech Lipo overcharging over 8.40 volts? When and how are you teching this?

3) Are you teching Lipo warming? What's the max allowed temp for Lipos? How will you check/tech this?

4) Can someone post pics of the current track layout?

Thanks,

Yohan

Kim/Ron,

Dont think 10.5 is supposed to be one of the classes...isn't it supposed to be: Stock = 17.5BL/27T, Super Stock = 13.5/19T ?

Yohan, I'll answer your tech questions.
1) I highly recomend using a lipo sack. (Final decesion to be made by the Track owner)
2)YES. Max voltage will be 8.44 volts and checked with a Fluke meter before each round.
3)YES. Max temp will be determinded by roar rules and checked before each round. Any cars over on voltage and temp will not be allowed on the track

I'm pretty sure the track pictures have been posted on the race tread for Race # 6 of the Fl. Series

Thanks Tony. Tony is in charge of the tech personal. Tony has arrainged a special person for tech. All cars will be teched before and after they race. The only ammended rule I changed is weight. Most of the people running in this race run in the FSEARA series and are use to 51 oz. So we will go with that.

David, Will Mod be limited to 10.5 or is it 10.5 and down to run in that class?

The State series will be keeping mod as an open motor class (10.5 and lower will all be considered mod motors).

Wow our first Ga. racer signed up all ready. Melvin is coming down from Atlanta, Ga to race with us.

Thanks David on clearing up the mod question.

Not sure but I think Yohan means 17.5 class not 10.5 for dcuz.

Thanks Dave...reason I ask is because on couple posts back(#19) classes are being put as follows:

Stock = 27T Brushed/13.5 BL.................it should be 27T brushed/17.5 BL
Super stock= 19T brushed/10.5 BL..........it should be 19T brushed/13.5 BL

I think it's good to clear that up so that people don't register for a class with wrong motors...you know, sometimes people come out to race that havent done so in a year or so and are not aware of ROAR updated brushless/brushed motor equivalents.

Yohan,

That was a post from the on line registration. I called them and they will be fixing the on line classes for registration.

I really think by now everyone has brushless and lipo.

Default Classes

I did not see 17.5 on the registration form. I intend to race the 17.5 and 13.5 class not the Mod class. I wrote this in the commit section of the registration form but I guess they did not see it.
