Default A new track just south of the Jacksonville Area

Well found on the ROAR website early this morning a new track in Green cove Springs about 30 minutes from my house. Don't know what type of track but it looks like it's off-road. I'm waiting for a answer. As soon as I find out I'll post it.

went there- waiting for a reply. If it's where I think it is parking would never be a problem. The land mark is easy to find- a Giant Army Duck from ww2.

He's updated his site.Looks like the city is giving him a problem. He's building a temporary track but looking 1/4 mile down the road?On his picture gallery he's got Nitro and electric on and off road. I'll try again to get a hold of him and find out what he building?

Thanks for the Information. It would be nice to see a track successful. The more of them we have the more fun we can have.

June 29th update- yes seeing is believing and I saw everything today.
the On-Road track is layed down the the track designed is painted on the fresh asphalt. The lanes are 10 ft wide. The oval track ( 10 FT LANES) has been paved ( including the 1/18th track and dragstrip). They are working on the walls for the off-road track. The Power is being installed for the pit area. And there will be six 30 amp pits places for trailers with AC (for rent). The hobby shop was inspected while I was there but still has aways to go.The common drivers stand for the off-road and on-road will the the next project going. The tracks opening should be around August 20th.
The track pipe is a flexible white PVC something he's having made- I won't be arriving till late July. The PA system will be done over the fm radio system ( not sure what system he getting).
Yes it's for real-And coming soon.

I went into a LHS today and the owner said he thought the offroad part of the track was going to open August 3rd. Is this still on track for the end of August? Perhaps sooner?
