Club Race In Naples!!
This was posted before, but I am going to post it again as a reminder.
Their first race had a poor turnout and we all need to get out there and run. The few who went are going to have an edge over all of us!!
November 29 and 30, BE THERE!
THE SWAMP R/C Raceway Located in Naples, Florida
Race dates
11/29-30
Florida Onroad State Series race
Dec.13-14
Take I-75 to Exit 101
Go south on Collier Blvd. 3.3 miles to Rattlesnake Hammock Rd. Turn left into The Florida Sports Park. Follow the road all the way until it ends the track is on the right (at the end of the road)
LOCAL HOTELS
Comfort Inn at Exit 101 1-800-277-7517 Mention "The Swamp" for discount
Super 8 at Exit 101 1-800-800-8000 Mention "LDC and the Swamp" for discount.
For those of you that don't already know, The Swamp is a 1240' per lap European style race track with very little straightaway. A nine foot tall drivers stand. Using AMB scoring system. Concession on premises
Classes:
10th scale Electric sedan Unlimited (6cells any motor even brushless)
200mm Nitro sedan
235 .15 outlaw
1/8th Outlaw
1/5th scale sedan

Count me in! I was there late on Sunday and the track was very sweat! I want to see the 1/8th scale cars go at it.

I'm not trying to bring anything negative up, But what is the deal with Naples? Are they getting the state Race? Rumor was that they were then they weren't . I would just like to know myself. I plan on attending if so. I sould have asked at Ft. Myers but even then it still sounded up in the air. Sorry to stir the pile, But I think someone high up should give a Positive yes or No. Again, I'm not putting anyone down, just asking.

There *WILL* be a state race there December 13th-14th.
You are correct, there was talks about Naples not being ready, but after a meeting and some clarifications, they are not losing their state race.
By the way, who are you 1fastmugen?
I thought you were Vince Tate for a while there, but vince wouldn't ask that question

Well all,
I'm in my hotel room in Naples.
The track is ready for tomorrow according to the race director. The weather this weekend is going to be awesome! no rain in sight, a high of 66 tomorrow and 76 on Friday!!!

i've got the Kfactory 17/21 on the car now, which is much larger than the mugen 17/21 gears (not sure how they did that one..
But i've got 19/23 kfactory as well! but i heard that you're not on the gas too much there!! so I loosened up the droop on the car to allow better weight transfer and got some softer springs!
I got a mad hookup on a room at the comfort inn, $25/night and i'm in the presidential suite!
