This coming Sunday, August 10th!!! Round 2 of the Dash-4-the Cash Nitro and Electric Challenge Series,
Location: At beautiful Coral Springs On-Road track. For directions please check out: www.csrccc.com
Classes: 200mm nitro Sedan, and 190mm Electric Sedan(10.5 and Open mod)
As already mentioned, this challenge will feature cash prizes for top finishes in each class. The money from the race fee is put in a pot, which will be split 50/50 with the club. Our Club's corresponding half will go towards track maintenance and renovation, and the remaining 50% in the pot goes to the RACERS
The money will be divided proportionately in each class, and awarded to top 3 places in each class.
Example...
30 racers X $20 Race fee = $600
$300 goes to Coral Springs On-Road Club. The Remaining $300 will be awarded to the racers by class.
2 classes 15 drivers each( electric TC, nitro TC)/ $300= $150 for each class.
Nitro:
1st place- $75
2nd-------$50
3rd-------$25
Electric:
1st place- $75
2nd-------$50
3rd-------$25
The more people show up, the bigger the pot and the bigger you get paid
Track will be open Saturday, but we wont prepp it. There's a Club Race at Royal Palm this Saturday afternoon, and our guys will go up to there to support Tim and the MDI track. Those of you who cannot make it to MDI saturday afternoon, Coral Springs will be open Saturday morning after 10am, but we wont be there to blow it off and prepp it.
I would like to know if you think we will actually stick to your schedule this time? Round 1 didn't get under way quite on time, if I remember correctly.

Yes sir...computer tests have gone fine and its all ready to go with new printer as well for print outs
I was planning on making this race, but you guys have started running on the same weekend that Royal Palm/mdi runs, so I cannot make it.
Sorry to hear you cannot make it Tim. That sucks bro. Round #2 had to be pushed to Sunday August 10th due to the Off Road track unwillingness to change their race day Aug 3rd, and they love blow all that clay our way every 10 minutes and it gets slippery at our track.
We schedule our monthly race & Dash for Cash 1st weekend of each month...this time we had to push it up to 2nd weekend since nothing could be negotiated with the off road directors. THey have nothing going on the 10th, so that's where we put it...but dont worry, it's on a Sunday, so you can still make it.
Last month's round#1 Dash for the Cash was very competitive...in both nitro and electric lead changes were taking place almost every lap
The Fastest nitro lap has been set at 13.0 by Francisco and Reno...who will break into the 12.9-12.8 range?
More nitro drivers are scheduled to show up and make it even more interesting this time around, and they all want a piece of the pot
Round #1 Champ Denise has been practicing as well, and she's not planning to take 2nd to anyone!!!
Electric fastest lap time in 10.5 is still held by Carlos Rodriguez, whose TC5 turned several 12.71 lap times
Roly will be defending, and the Xray '008 was on fire by the time the Mains came around. Rob's car has been fantastic and Dave Bowser's Cyclone TC is on a tare, and it will be fun to see it in round #2 with a couple races experience under his belt with the new TC. It's up for grabs Carlos has been practicing and is looking to clean house...
2008 FSEARA 13.5 and 10.5 champ Felix Law will be in attendance with his Cyclone as well, and it will be fun to see what he can do at the new track
