Default Pro Hobbies Apopka, FL *NEW* Web Site

http://prohobbies.prophp.us/pro_hobbies.htm

I put together a fairly simple Web site for our local track, Pro Hobbies Speedway in Apopka, Florida. Legends, SK's, and 1/10th pan cars will be our primary classes, but bring three cars of just about any electric class, and we'll try and make a division! We had a few of the BoLink Sprinters show up for a Grand Reopening last Saturday. SK's and pan cars will be single-cell LiPo (4000mAh)/13.5 brushless; Legends are handout motors, pretty much any 4-cell NiCd or NiMh.

Next scheduled race event will be Saturday, June 20. Gates open at 9:00am, racing starts following drivers' meeting at 10am.

Hope to see you there!

Just wanted to let you guys know, I've had to temporarily take down the Web site due to some misinformation that was posted on the "Rules" page. As soon as we get it all straightened out, we'll bring the Web site back up.

Again, any questions about racing, please contact Jim Pfieffer at (407) 886-4615.

Next race day is June 20th, 2009.

Default VTA/RCGT club in Palm Bay

Brevard Electric Auto Racers is meeting on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month at Space Coast Harley-Davidson in Palm Bay. Everyone is welcome to join us as we get this program geared up. We run strictly electric 10th scale touring chassis using VTA motor/batt/fdr rules. Not familiar ? check out www.usvintagetransam.com for VTA rules. For RCGT the only deviations are the allowable bodies, wheels and tires according to HPI RCGT rules.
Our site is outdoor smooth concrete.Plenty of available power so no generators needed. We use a combination of PVC and Road rails for the track. 16x6 drivers stand trailer. No timing system as yet but we'll have an I-Lap soon.
We're just starting up and would love to have any of you Florida drivers come join us. Look for the website soon but feel free to contact me by e-mail, PM or phone. Thanks and look forward to seeing you.

I guess we will have to procede with building our own Dirt Oval Track at my house.....So much for the old Horse Area.........

We have 52ft wide by over 125ft long....The Oval Track we've been racing on measures Outside 60ft by 96ft, with the inside measuring 32ft by 66ft.

Are there any places to do some Asphalt TC racing in northern Florida? Preferably permanent tracks.

Pro Hobbies Speedway - new Web site and URL.

Concrete outdoor short track oval. Legends, SK Mods, and 13.5/1s CoT-bodied stock cars. 3 of anything = a class. We've also run some BoLink Sprinters a coupla months back. VERY tight Saturday-night-short-track style action!

Come check us out!
