Dash-4-the Cash: Nitro and Electric Challenge Series
Just to remind everyone of the upcoming Dash for the Cash Nitro and Electric sedan challenge this Sunday July 6th, fist weekend of July 2008.
As already mentioned, this challenge will feature cash prizes for top finishes in each class. The money from the race fee is put in a pot, which will be split 50/50 with the club. Our Club's corresponding half will go towards track maintenance and renovation, and the remaining 50% in the pot goes to the RACERS
The money will be divided proportionately in each class, and awarded to top 3 places in each class.
Example...
30 racers X $20 Race fee = $600
$300 goes to Coral Springs On-Road Club. The Remaining $300 will be awarded to the racers by class.
2 classes 15 drivers each( electric TC, nitro TC)/ $300= $150 for each class.
Nitro:
1st place- $75
2nd-------$50
3rd-------$25
Electric:
1st place- $75
2nd-------$50
3rd-------$25
The more people show up, the bigger the pot and the bigger you get paid
It was a great race. The track looks awesome thanks guys. If you miss it, I suggest You don't miss the next one. Besides what better than winning cash anyway.
Thanks to all the guys who made the event possible:
Brian Bucher, the Prez.
Mike Woodward

Yo guys helped tremendously with money and hard work on the new world class layout, and it showed.
Thanks to Bob Husted, who grace us with his presence and help us set upt he computer and get the system operational, along with Shawn and Thomas.
Mike and Denise for going out of their way and proving us with back up lap top to diagnose problems and get the system running nicely.
And to the Coral Springs crew faithful: Mike Kidwald, Alfonso Irwin, Carlos Rodriguez, for supporting the event and making it so much fun and helping out with what ever was needed.
To all the racers who came and made the event competitive, yet very friendly and pleasant for all.
