This is what I can tell you. Rich, the owner of Super Models(www.supermodelsrc.org) was involved in R/C racing back in the late 90's in his old hobby shop in Daytona Beach. He had close to 80 plus people come out to race for his event and loved it. These guys had trailers! He also had a driver stand that they towed out to the races. That was then, this is now. He opened super models recently and just started this back up. We need more to come out but with what we have, this could work.

LOL no, it was an rdx with a mamba 7700 and 3 cell lipo, did 75 with a spur that was stripped and the next pass it did 71 but the spur was done, i might have been able to run with them with the 17.5 though

Its impressive when you can run with those nitro boys. I have a mamba 5700 coming this week for my TC3 but I don't think I'll gear it to run with them. I would like to stick to the electric class when this gets organized. I'm not going to rush this setup yet abd burn it up. I'll gear right with multiple test runs. I'm also getting new 4600 packs and an LRP pulsar comp charger this week.

Just a thought:

The state on road race is this weekend at Strickland RC park in Daytona. Stop by check out the racing and advertise your track there. There are several of central and south florida guys needing a weekly racing program for electric and nitro.

This is exactly what on-road needs if its going to live. exposure and people out doing it just for the fun of it. there's more people there just hanging out than some racing events i've been to.
