Hey Tim or Tim

is there going to be a warm up race?

also I am curious that if the parking lot isn't paved what are your plans there?

will there be practice friday before the race?

what size will the track be?

what are the plans for spraying the track?

Since this one is in the right thread i will answer it here:

Warm Up Race = As of now No, we are waiting on hearing back from the complex as to when the lot will be complete (end of August is last we were told, the city of Longwood doesn't move very fast with permitting).

Backup Location = Not an issue. All racers will be informed in a timely fashion

Practice Friday = Yes (Times to be announced)

Track Will be approximately 110' x 45'

Track Will be sprayed with sugar water.

I know there are alot of ?'s about our location, we are unfortunately at the mercy of the complex. We were assured the lot WILL be paved no later than the last week of August. That gives us three weeks form then until our race.

wow 3 week old pavement will be nice except for the fact that unless we get alot of rain or the track area is pressure washed it will be covered with sand.

Plenty of room for trailers and pitting.

No power, bring a generator.

Thanks

FYI when they paved Hobby World it about 3 weeks of blowing the track off and rain to get the track some what clean.

i don't know if it is standard practice in the paving world but they trough down alot of sand when they rolled it out.

There is nothing wrong with asking questions Dave. I just ask that you keep it to the thread that was made for that event. We paved the lot in our old place and ran on it the next weekend without any issues.
