I am for brushless in all classes.

I think it was already mentioned earlier:

4 Touring Classes

Beginner - Stock or 13.5 BL
Expert - 19 Turn or 10.5 BL
Pro - Open Motor
Masters- 40 and up Stock or 13.5 BL

Lipo's if you want them, just have to have a minimum weight rule to go along with them.

I would like to stick to the Heads Up / Reedy Format for sure in Mod / Pro class.

No sense in making tech more difficult. If your run lipo, require same weight as 6 cells. Also, there's suppose to be an "heavier" lipo pack in the works anyways.

I've seen an 8000 advertised yesterday.
Actually the lipo drivers should (master class) all have the same weight as a 6 cell pack. After everyone is converted then we can talk a lighter weight.

I'm gonna throw out an Idea. How about a True budget class that would be easy to tech.

A class with easy to find cars and parts (that would be cheap)

The rules would be that you had to run a "tub" chassis car (TC3/4, XXX-4,T1R, even the Cyclone S would be legal) You can buy most of these cars for under $100. Run them with Stock motors or BL 13.5, 4cells, and a Standard servo.

Just an Idea

I think a true rtr class, just like it comes out of the box.
the only issue i see is that some rtr's come with faster motors.
-
i do think a budget class is needed, but i worry about how many people it will actually attract??
