Seems the speedway is going all out the weekend of this event. We picked this up off their website today.

SpeedJam is One Day. Too Much Excitement. Three Races.

HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY TO HOST INAUGURAL XM SATELLITE RADIO SPEEDJAM, MARCH 24TH

On Saturday, March 24, South Florida will be introduced to a brand new kind of event that combines food, racing, a car show, music, and more, all for one low price: XM Satellite Radio SpeedJam.

What is XM Satellite Radio SpeedJam?

Racing: Three exciting races will take place as part of XM Satellite Radio SpeedJam. First, up and coming drivers will hit the track in the IndyPro Series Miami 100. The Linder Industrial Komatsu Grand Prix of Miami will follow, with Ferraris, Porsches, and Daytona Prototypes racing around the Speedway's 11-turn road course. After the sun sets, the action will heat up with the XM Satellite Radio Indy 300, as Danica Patrick, Marco Andretti, Helio Castroneves and others hit speeds of over 200 miles per hour, under the lights for the very first time

Food: In addition to the tasty treats and savory smells of the food booths at Homestead-Miami Speedway, there will also be an actual Memphis in May sanctioned barbecue competition taking place on site. Come watch top grill masters battle for prizes and a spot in the upcoming national competition.

Car Show: South Florida car enthusiasts will enjoy the car show at XM SpeedJam. This show will feature everything from high-end luxury cars and restored classics to exotics and even choppers on display.

Music: You'll enjoy free concerts and music of all types throughout the day as part of XM Satellite Radio SpeedJam. Stay tuned to hear which nationally-recognized recording artist will perform a pre-race concert before the Indy 300!

MORE: Carnival rides, high-speed karting races, remote control (R/C) car races, interactive displays, showcars, and much more, all for one low ticket price.

Tickets for XM Satellite Radio SpeedJam are on sale now. Please call (866) 409-RACE or visit www.homesteadmiamispeedway.com or www.racetickets.com.

Yea, the RC Pro Homestead Miami International Fuel Challenge is way more than just another RC car race!

For anyone that still thinks that the RC Pro Homestead Miami International Fuel Challenge is just another RC race, take a look at this.

Manufacturers, Teams, RC racers and those that love our sport better hurry up or you won't be part of RC history.

I am really shocked that more people are not supportting this event to help our sport. I would think this race would be a great opportunity for all to attend, especially the locals and people within the state. Even organizations and manufactures!!!!!!!!!!! I know there are a few getting involved, but I though it would be more.

Good to hear, remember to get in your registration.

I have a 12th scale you can borrow, but it is old and my batteries suck.
