Default FDOS Race 5 5/21 @ NewRed (Ocala)

let's get this stickied if possible. there's a lot of racing going on in Ocala this weekend. A little something for almost everyone! Good luck with whatever you run.

5/21 (SUNDAY) in Ocala, Gates open 9am possibly earlier, Racing at 11. MAP host website Ramada Inn Host Hotel $59 +tax mention NewRed Hobbies or customer code "RCR"

* Speedy's Racing Parts * Mcallister Racing * Factory Works * Kipp's Hobbies * Custom Works * Ohio Hobby Plus * Klein RC Motorsports * Slick Zero * Hulsberg Grafix * Brahma Racing Products * CDK R/C Bodies * Eddie Emery's Custom Wood Working * Ronnie Setser's SS Raceway * Lil Dover 2 * New Red Hobbies * Rarer Racing Designs *

Four events are in the books and throw outs are taken into consideration. With the season winding down, the race will be heating up on what seems to be the tightest track. There will be plenty of Nitro action as usual, with the addition of the local electric guys this is going to be one jam packed event. If anyone has been sandbagging now would be the time to turn it up as points position will start to jump around!

If you have not raced here please call ahead with your registration info and we'll get you into the system to make things easier on race day.

fyi guys a few things that will be enforced that we may have been laxed on in the past:

1. your car and radio will sit in tech during the race after yours. if it is not there the entire duration of the next race, your prior race will be thrown out. this should not be a burden for anyone as you should be turn marshalling during this time anyhow, so drop your car/radio off, take position as turn marshall and then pick up your car after the race.

2. NO one will cross the track once a race has started in order to fetch a broken/stalled/stuck car. if your car stalls or breaks and is put to the infield it will remain there untill the race is over. if your buddies car is stuck in the infield, let a turn marshall handle it. if you/ or anyone associated w/ you crosses the track to fetch your car, you will be docked 2 laps from your best qualifier or if it occurs in a main you will be scored last for that race.

3. if you are determined to be rough driving you may be docked 1 lap from your highest qualifier or main for each occurence. if you are docked, there will be no discussion on the matter what so ever, if you attempt to discuss this with anyone involved in the decision you will be docked further and/or disqualified.
