Is there any other RC video games that are really fun? I used to love RC Pro AM!! Super Off-Road looked like an RC video game, & was the coolest!

I like how it slows down time so you can think & be more creative with your stunt jumps off of ramps! It's the 1st HD RC game I ever saw, & boy am I impressed! It is far superior to any RC video game I ever saw! I love the beach & boardwalk backgrounds as your racing, so detailed! It's funny how you smack your car into ppls legs on the beach or crash into vases to get more Nitro!! Reminds me of one of my all-time favorite games: Super Off-Road from the arcade & NES!! Anyone ever play it? This game has come a long way from the days of RC Pro-Am!

After spending $400-$500 on an upgraded RC, there are certain risks you just don't take! With this game, you can do some crazy things you couldn't dream of with ur real RC! For Example, if you just want to crash & explode into a wall, get ran over by a real car, or see how many flips your car can do over a ledge before it lands into the ocean, just to see variations on how many different ways you can wreck your car, now you can!!

I just beat smash cars last night, took me a month! (My PS3 was in the shop for a broken Blu-Ray laser part of that time).

I can't believe I finally beat Smash Cars! It was hard, but so much fun! The graphics, sound & game play were awesome! Unlocking secret body kits, paint jobs & decals was really fun & the game physics for stunt flips in mid-air, amazing!

I can't believe how fast the ppl who hold the Top 10 spots for best lap time & best race time are!

The workshop is 9ft. 5in X 11ft. 5in. and the tile I want to buy is 12in. X 12 in.

ok guys my wife told me that for christmas i can have a r/c car for a maximum of 500 total. so far i have a kyosho st truggy with upgraded motor and pipe, kyosho dbx with upgraded pipe, traxxas slash, and a ofna ld3.

my thing is i like offroad and i like onroad but not to many places around here to run them (onroad). i was thinking 1/8 scale off road or 1/10 scale off road but dont know what to get.

so what advise or kits or rtr's would you guys recomend for that price. i was thinking the revo 3.3 but not sure

okay i won a uction for a traxxas bandit,well they hada Spektrum dx 3.0 radio with it. they packed it poorly.when the box arrived at my home the antenna mount was broken, when i opened the padded bag the broken plastic pieces fell out and the base to hold the antenna on busted.they did not fold the antenna down.

they stick a Orange paper in the box saying this BS> SATISFACTION GUARANTEED <total LIES.........it took 2 emails to get them to reply to me. i told them the antenna mount was broken. i would like a 15$ refund to use that money to ship to Horizion for repair. there reply was we cant not issue a refund.save all packaing and th item we will file a ups claim.

i was like NO i am not waiting for that. then they told me sorry we are not able to issue a refund. if you want to return the item we charge a 10% restocking fee. OMFG. it says please contact us beofre you post permanet feedback give us a chance to fix the problem.

I cant access the site these few days during the day.. Is it me or just the site itself ?? And it's super slow too..... :(

well ive always wanted a cool PC. im not big into gaming, but i still want the cool look. so ive decided to try my luck at making mine cool. and im gonna share with you.

so, i start with my 2 year old Emachines T5224.


of course ive upgraded it internal wise as well, but its still kinda ugly. so the basic tear down begins.

then i busted out the tools. ya i know, funny color scheme, but trust me.



now the side panel masked out for cutting. ill be putting plexiglass behind it.


and thats all i got for a half hour worth of work. ill keep updating.

so not sure if i've posted this yet.. if so oh well.. ya'll get to see it again.

so since lawnmower racing season is over (race from may long weekend to end of october) its time to spend the next few months building another mower.. since i have a bunch of parts laying around i thought i'd throw them together...

started out with a stripped down John Deere 111. My dad bought it for parts for his next mower, so i got the rear fender, a rusted out seat, frame, hood and steering wheel and all the wiring.. dad took the engine, front and rear axle and wheels.. what i started with


but i wasnt worried as i had a 5 speed craftmans rear end and craftsman front axle laying around and a 16hp twin cylinder briggs engine.what it looked like with the hood and 16hp with a stripped frame

so i made some brackets for the rear end, welded on the front axle and lawnmower "L" spindles. and dad and i came up with a plan of what it will look like

then i started making the rear fender mount and the panel that will hold the kill switch and starter button, dont have a pic of the fender mount yet..

i grabbed the tires off my other mower (this one) so i can use them to finish the JD .

and this is what it looks like right now.

wow kind of a long post oops.. the ford mower is also mine, dad built that for me october of 2008 so i didnt beat on his mower all the time..haha. i wil update this thread as i go.. the JD will race against a 12hp v-twin, a 17hp, a 12hp, and possibly a 440 sled engine mower. dad is building an old viking looking mower but its a craftsman with an 18hp kohler single cylinder to run in the same class. lots of thinking and some swearing involved haha.:sweat:

Long story short come new years I want to get a new car. One of those two basically since Im and AWD junky now that I have owned one. Currently I drive a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX and I absolutely love it. Im looking for some more horsepower, and since my car is a salvage I dont want to dump the money into upgrades for it.

Basically, Im torn between the two. I love the boxer rumble of the Subaru, but I hate how much of a pain it is to work on that motor. Even something like changing the spark plugs is a pain. Im not the most mechanically enclined thats for sure but still. I like the looks of the EVO, but its a tie between the two in that department.

I think the STi has more to offer with the DCCD control and really nice interior, but it comes at a higher price, meaning Ill have to buy something with much more miles where I could get the EVO at the lower miles and cost.

Just looking for some insight between the two. I could have easily posted this over on NASIOC where Im also a member but the Subaru people would just beat the EVO to death.
