Does anyone know where I can find radio skin template files that can be output to a cutter? Specifically Spektrum dx3s and similar? I can't seem to find a source for these. I know they are out there, all the graphics companies have to get them from somewhere....

I'm using all Faskolor paint on a Pro-Line Slash baja bug body. Before starting I scuffed the inside with Scotchbrite and washed it thoroughly using Dawn dish soap. Now that I have the motor area painted up I'm ready to shoot the body. I plan to do two different colors on the body. What I'd like to know is what should I use to wipe it down between colors? I've been handling the inside of the body while painting the motor and likely will do the same while masking between the color coats. I'm going to need to remove the oils and whatnot left by my fingers. What would be suggested that won't affect the paint that has already been applied? Rubbing alcohol? Denatured alcohol? Tequila? Will the new paint hold up to another water washing? I really like this body and want to make sure my screw ups don't show through the final product. Thanks for any help!

Yea another freakin compressor question. First let me say that I have read every compressor thread here and in CFX. I want to get suggestions for my application.

So I just bought an Iwata Revolution from coastal. Now I am in the market for a comp. I was looking at the Scorpion I but noticed it would only be good for airbrushing. I want to get a compressor that would be able to power an air nozzle as well (to clean RC's and stuff). I dont want to compromise the quality of airbrush work. Which compressor would you guys recommend that isn't so specific to airbrush?

I was wondering about spraying rustoleum gloss enamel through my airbrush and how I would clean it up. I was also wondering if i could spray valspar latex enamel through my airbrush and how i would clean it. I have a badger 360 airbrush and i don't want to destroy its gaskets or anything. How would I thin the paint to the right consistency to the right consistency. I found them at the local Lowes and they are much cheaper than other airbrush enamels. Also are their any primers and clear coats I could spray through the airbrush that may be sold locally.

is there a company/person that can take pics of a 1:1 truck and make me some decals? I've done lots of research and emailing and the only thing 've gotten is companys offering wraps which I don't want to do.

then i backed the flames with black, painted the back candy red with a silver pinstripe seperating the two colors. i messed up on the silver pinstrip a little bit.

Hi guys,
I just finished painting a new body using Parma Fascolors and was wondering what is the best way to finish and protect the paint. I've always used pactra paint in the past, and this is the first time I used the fascolors which I'm concerned about. I don't want the paint to come off since I'll be using in on my D8T nitro powered truck. I've purchased the parma fascoat, but I also have Krylon Crystal clear as well. I also have pactra can paint as well. I know the paint wont last forever, but I'd like to have the piece of mind of not having to worry about spilling fuel on the body and having the paint come off.
I'm really looking for opinions from people who have used fascolors in a fuel powered vehicle since I know you'd encounter the same conditions I do. Thanks again for everyone who takes the time to look. I've looked on this forum and found a bunch of varies ideas from painters of different experiences and skills, but just want to be sure which one to use.

Just thought I would let you painters know about a new style paint comp we are running at CFX.

I am some what new to painting RC car bodies, my question is how do you remove the tape residue that is left after the low tack masking tape is removed?:confused:
