Ok, so I decided I'm going to pick up my very first electric truck soon. I'm usually a nitro guy, but I said, "What the hell", and decided to give electric a try. I decided on the E-Revo Brushless Edition. I can't seem to find some good Lipo Batteries for it. I'm looking for some good, pretty long run time, pretty fast... Lipos that would work well in my Brushless E-Revo. Any advice? Links?

I'm also going to need a charger.

I recently bought a CEN Fun Factor roller that needs drive shafts. The axles were in place so I bought some dogbones to attach to the axle but that doesn't work because the head on the dog bone is slightly smaller than the axle. There are some swing shafts for it that I should have probably boght instead but I am not sure what size to get. There are 2 different sized listed in the same blowup of the truck. They are 66 and 88, if I am thinking correctly that is the length between the axle and the differential, am I thinking right? There are some on Ebay that have the actual lengths listed instead of the 66 or 88. The dogbones I bought are 66's and they are the right length with the axle to go from the wheel hub to the differential.

If my reasoning is right I should be buying the 66's correct? If there is anyone out there that has any experience with CEN 10th scale trucks or that can help please do.

Thanks, Uhgg

Hey guys!

As the years pass by it seems that MT racing is dropping off. What was once a huge class all over the country has seen a large decline. Events stop supporting the class, and the ones that do are not able to give back much to the class due to low entries.

I am putting on a race called the 2010 Alabama Manf. Shootout, we have a very long list of sponsor that inclulde most of the major companies within our industry. The race is still 7 months away but with a few clicks on www.rcsignup.com and one will see it's easily going to be one of the largest races of the year!

At the current time we have almost 150 entries with close to 30 paid, nearly unheard of with a event thats 7 months away!

We have several guys in our region that have invested a lot of hard work, time, and money into Monster trucks only to get down when they don't have a place to race, or a class to race in. So I hope to be able to pull it together so you guys can have some healthy MT racing next June 3-5, 2010.

We will have large plaques for the top 5 in every class(TQ plaques as well), huge sponsor list giving everthing to the classes outside of pro, free event tshirts, event supplied corner marshals, indoor guaranteed race, magazine coverage, and coverage by www.liverc.com.

If your a MT racer this is the race for you!

If anyone has any questions I'll check back often. You can also check out the event thread in the "racing forum", www.rcsignup.com, and we will soon have the website up within a few days...

Thanks,

I am getting this truck and unfortunately it will most likely be used more so on the streets than on the dirt. I would like for it to handle well on the street but still maintain that monster truck strength.

Different rims and wheels? Any suggestions? Any tried and true setups?

Thanks in advance.
