2013/14 Hobbyplex Winter 1:8 Scale Series
It's time once again to prepare for the Winter 1:8 Series.
The dates for the first three races are November 3, December 1, and January 12. The final two right now are Feb 2 and March 23.
I say right now, because depending on when the Tamiya Championship Series race, Brushless Racing League and MDRA dirt oval races end up, it might change. Especially March...lots going on in March.
Either way the final two races will be well apart so if you guys go to the Nitro Challenge you won't have to worry about missing a series race.
The classes will be 1:8 nitro buggy and truggy, 1:8 electric buggy and Pro-4 SCT.
Before anyone asks, no, there will not be an E-truggy class. There hasn't been enough interest as of late and last year's series started off fine, but after the second round we never had enough to support the class.
E-truggies are more than welcome on regular Friday and Saturday race nights and if interest picks up we'll see about adding it for next year.
I'll have the official flyer out soon. I'm looking forward to another fun winter 1:8th scale season.
