Default what do you change up first.

when at a large event, or any event for that matter, what setup changes do you make first. lets say you have the corect tires and body. what would you change first? shock mounting? roll center? i know what most of these do, but on your routines, what would you do first? thanks alot

I agree partly with Rod................

I start with caster, then I try rear toe, after that I go with oil. This is after choosing the right body and tires for the conditions. Sway bars could also fall in between the 2 previous adjustments I mentioned...........

i would not change anything until the grove of traction compound is worn in track espically so for carpet racing.........then you take it from there...

1) Fire the Driver
2) Fire the Crew Chief
3) Sell the ride and get a new one
4) Repeat step #1

for me, its normally;

decide on a shell, normally this is the easy part based on the track and/or previous experience

shocks
roll centres
caster/kickups
wheelbase

And normally at this point I go "Argh" and nick a setup off one of the Pro's
